Jacks Photo Portfolio

  First, our group started off with a rough draft that was filmed on a phone, which greatly effected its quality and audio. Our next attempt, we began filming with a camera, which fixed our quality and audio issues. Despite this, we still had problems with the length of our video and the order in which the clips were in. With this in mind, we condensed the previous timeline we had and were able to get the video down to thirty seconds. After watching other commercial projects, we took idea from their videos such as using a real teacher and a nice focused shot of the product. After making all of these changes, we felt as if our video was complete and just the way we wanted it. Although the video turned out to be great, consistently being told that changes should be made was a very frustrating part of the process.

  First, we went to the cage to get all of the sports gear. Next we went to the studio to take a bunch of pictures of the subject. After taking all of these pictures, I picked my two favorite ones, as I was going to use them for the edit. Then I took these two photos and edited them in light room. Next, I put the photos into photoshop and picked the school I was planning on making the edit for. After this, I layered a couple photos of the Kentucky logo, their stadium, and Tabor Academy's logo. Next I added the bokeh effect, as it makes the picture blend together better. Finally I played around with the opacity on the eraser, added the signature, and got it to look the way it is.

  This photo is nice because it is obviously edited, as the same person is in the picture, but in 9 different positions. This photo is cool, as the multiples of his body are shrunk and edited to stand on him and the camera. This photo has some cool context behind it and is edited really nicely. This photo has an outside frame and also uses reflection, which is two different tools. This photo is clean, as it uses the phone for the first frame, and the second frame. The picture within the frame uses the dock as a line of symmetry, which leads to the subject. This photo uses the chain-link of an anchor as the frame, which highlights the house in the background. Research This uses 2 different shadows, which looks interesting. There is a shadow coming from the hand and a window type shape. This photo uses a cool look of reflection, as it shows some cool geographic features through a car mirror. This photo uses the light in the background to make the subject of the photo look like it is a shadow. It also uses reflection, as the human is reflecting off of the ground. This photo uses both light and shadows, as the light that shines through creates a cool look on the ground and there is the shadow of a person. This photo uses some nice reflecting, as the light that is shined into the pyramid shines back out with some nice color.
