Leading Lines and Symmetry

Both sides of the photo are symmetrical, and the dock ultimately leads to the horizon.
This is a different way of looking at it. The sides end up leading to the middle, instead of it leading to something on the horizon. The middle is not necessarily a subject in this case.
The road helps highlight the mountain in the back, as it leads up to it. The yellow lines in the road help show that the photo is symmetrical.

The engravings on the floor lead to the tower in the back.

My Photos

The squash courts center line leads perfectly to the subject of this photo, which is the squash ball.
Similar to the squash ball, the blue line fades nicely into the subject of this photo, which is the hockey puck.
This uses the squash court line for a different purpose, as it leads to a person. The open doorway also adds a nice touch of symmetry.
This photo uses something that we walk past every singe day, but shows a different way of looking at it. The ground angle adds even more symmetry to the photo.
Similar to both the squash ball, and the hockey puck, I used the basketball court line to lead to the subject of this photo, which is the basketball.
This photo was pretty symmetric to begin with, but once it was edited to be more contrast, it looked even more symmetric, as it leads straight to the outline of the book.
This photo also uses something that we look at everyday, but in a different way. The light from the sun leaves a nice shadow on the subject, so that you can only see the figure.
The long dock in this photo leads nicely up to the human subject. The ocean also leaves a nice plain touch to the background.
The red hockey board in this photo is similar to the dock, as this angle makes it appear as longer and leads up to the subject nicely.
This photo uses a cool design on the table to highlight the subject in the background, by using a table level view.
This photo uses pews from the chapel to lead up to a person on the alter. The contrast in this photo helps the subject to be seen as only a figure.
